Life Is a Smorgasbord

At a Board meeting of one of the institutions we work with, the session had just ended. Everyone was leaving. A Board member came by, handed me his business card, and told me how pleased he was with the meeting.

It wasn’t until that evening, in my hotel room, that I looked at the card. The front had all the vital information. On the back was the following:

Work like you don’t need the money.
Love like you have never been hurt by anyone.
Dance like nobody’s watching.
Sing like nobody’s listening.
Live like it’s Heaven on Earth. It is.

In Auntie Mame, called by some the greatest Broadway comedy of all time, Auntie Mame says: “Life is a smorgasbord. You should have a feast.” Enjoy. Enjoy!
