The Truth about Direct Mail

Direct mail is not my world. But I believe in it and feel that it is immensely important for an organization.

If those who respond to your letter are properly thanked, and their gift is celebrated, these folks will bubble up to be your major givers in the future. I recommend calling every direct mail donor to let them know how important their gift is.

Although direct mail is not my specialty, I have been at this long enough that I have developed a few rules. Well . . . actually there are fifteen.
